I am able to offer a full range of services from a consultation or planting plan to a full garden design

I can assist in the rejuvenation or redesign of an existing garden or start from scratch and create a new garden.

Consultation

I will come and visit you on site and after listening to your requirements I will produce a written consultation report with ideas on how your garden may be improved to meet your needs

Planting Plan

If your current plantings no longer meet your needs (or have died in these past few years of lower water availability) I can produce a planting plan for the existing garden layout.

This may incorporate some existing plantings mixed with new plantings. To produce an accurate plan, site measurements are taken. A professionally drafted, drawn to scale plan is provided

Full Garden Design Service

Consultation -Fully qualified garden designer Tonia Gillespie will visit you at home and discuss your requirements

	This is a very important stage in the whole design process where we can identify your needs and wishes.
	It is often useful before this consultation to write down a wish list and a few of your likes and dislikes, e.g. colours, plants, styles etc.
	We can then work through this information and develop a design brief.

Site survey and site analysis

	The site needs to be measured so that an accurate scale plan can be drawn up to work from.
	If you are building a new home then a site survey will not be required as you will already have scale plan.
	The site analysis will look at aspects of the site which impact on the design such as soil, prevailing weather conditions and existing vegetation and built structures.

Concept Plan

After consultation with the client, concepts are developed and discussed with the client and a developed design is produced.

Final Plan

A professionally drafted, drawn to scale, fully coloured plan is then created from the developed design including a detailed planting plan. Black and white construction plans, with the technical information required to build your garden, are also supplied. These will assist you when getting quotes from landscapers or for planning and costing the project if you intend to do it yourself.

Plant sourcing

I am able to source and deliver plants. Clients find this a convenient service and it ensures that they have the correct variety and species of plants.
